CLAS also aligns its sustainability goals with its Sponsor, The Ascott Limited (Ascott), the lodging business unit wholly owned by CLI.
Ascott's sustainability programme, Ascott CARES, centres around five fundamental pillars: Community, Alliance, Respect, Environment and Supply Chain. For its commitment to sustainability, Ascott has received Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC)-committed status.

Net Zero Target and Validation by the Science Based Targets Initiative
CLI's carbon emissions reduction targets are in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement. CLI's Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon emissions reduction targets are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to be in line with a 1.5 °C trajectory, currently the most ambitious designation available through the SBTi process.
CLI has committed to Net Zero by 2050 for its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. As part of CLI, CLAS is aligned with these targets.
